  • Matt Hyde trained as an actor in London and has worked across theatre, film, and TV. Speakers Corner was formed when he was asked to help improve the communication skills of officers at London Metropolitan Police. A move to Adelaide saw the company expand and it is continuing to work with a range of diverse clients.

    Actors spend years training to be confident, calm, and charismatic in front of a crowd. Matt now works to share these insider tips and techniques to help you engage your listeners and speak from a place of innate confidence and power. Matt is also proud to be the Corporate Trainer for the State Theatre Company South Australia.

Matt Hyde

TRAINER

Matt has a BA Honours in Performing Arts and a Masters in Acting from Arts Educational Schools, London. He’s performed on London’s West End stages and has filmed productions across the UK, New York, and Europe. He continues to act in Adelaide with the State Theatre Company South Australia.

Donna Brooks

TRAINER

Donna is based in Sydney and brings more than two decades of experience as both actor and senior manager in the arts and events sectors. Her work in communication training spans the corporate, medical, and therapeutic sectors.

Richard Davies

TRAINER

Richard has more than 20 years’ experience as a journalist and news presenter. In Australia he’s worked as a reporter and newsreader for ABC and Network 10. Richard’s international career includes stints at CNN, Associated Press, and ITV in London.
